Collection and Use of Personal Information

When you sign up to use our products, services and content, we will need to contact and identify you from time to time. For this reason, we will ask you to register and give us some of your personal information.

What personal information we collect?

When you register on our website, we will ask for your name, address, company name, phone number, email address, and credit card information.

When other people access your CloudSnooze account with your permission, we may collect information about them, including their names and email addresses.

In order to retrieve data from cloud accounts, you will need to register them. When you do, we collect the name of the account holder, company name, username and access keys. These access keys will be kept secret – in order to protect your data, we don’t store or log them.

How we use your personal information

We use your personal information to keep you informed about our latest offers, products, updates and upcoming events. If you don’t want to receive this type of information, simply unsubscribe by clicking on the relevant link in any of the emails.

In order to prevent fraud on your account and to create, develop, operate, deliver, and improve our products, services and content we may use some of your personal information.

In the event that we make any changes to our policies or terms of service, we will use your personal information in order to notify you of this.

We may use your personal information internally for audits, data analysis and research in order to improve the products that we offer you.

Collection and Use of Non-Personal Information

We collect data in such a form that, on its own, does not allow us to identify or contact a specific individual or account holder. We reserve the right to use non-personal data for certain purposes, including:

  • Technical and navigational information. For each visitor to our website, we collect information on web browser type, Internet protocol address, language, location, time zone, unique device/browser identifier, and URLs requested. This is used to understand our customers’ behaviour and tailor our products, services and content to their specific needs.
  • Website activities. We aggregate this information in order to improve our content and website usability. We consider aggregated information as non-personal information.

In the case where personal and non-personal information are combined, we will treat the whole as personal information for as long as it is combined.

Cookies and Other Technologies

We use cookies and other technologies, such as Web Beacons and Pixel Tags, in all our websites in order to better understand user behaviour and to effectively deliver our services.

Cookies are alphanumeric identifiers in the form of data files that are inserted and stored by your Web browser on your computer’s hard drive. These may be stored on your computer in order to monitor your usage history and preferences and store your login information.

You are able to prevent cookies from being stored on your computer and to delete the cookies that are stored there already. It is important to note that, if you choose to do this, some functionality of the services we offer you will be impaired or may even not be able to operate properly.

Web Beacons refer to images embedded in a web page and used for measuring and analysing website usage and activity. We, or third party service providers employed by us, could use these in order to better our services and products. We could also use this information to determine that users meet the required criteria to access our services.

Pixel Tags allow us to determine the correct format of email messages that our customers would be able to read. We also use these to determine whether an email has been opened. We use this information to reduce and tailor the messages we send to users in order to keep our communication minimal and relevant.

In some of our email messages we use a “click-through URL” linked to web pages on our websites. When recipients click on these URLs a separate web server records their click before arriving at the destination. We use click-through data to help us determine the interest in particular content or topics. If you prefer not to be tracked in this way you should not click on textual or graphic links contained in our emails.

In order to analyse trends and administer our websites, we store the following information in log files: Internet Protocol (IP) addresses, browser type and language, Internet service provider (ISP), referring and exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, and clickstream data.

CloudSnooze will only use your personal information to improve our products, services and content. We won’t share your data with third parties for their marketing purposes. If we do transfer your data to any third party or other agents, we will first give you the option to opt out or limit the use and disclosure of your personal data.

They may send email messages our behalf, process payments or operate particular features and functionality of our services, products and content.
